THE SITUATION: J&J's R&D team spearheaded two transformative initiatives spanning over two years. The first event aimed to promote Supplier Diversity within the pharmaceutical sector, while the second focused on optimizing lab efficiency to amplify scientific endeavors.
THE CHALLENGE: In an industry rich with competition, J&J faced the dual challenge of nurturing trust and advancing diversity goals, as well as fostering innovative thinking to streamline lab operations and maximize scientific output.
THE SOLUTION: TwoLine partnered with J&J's R&D team to devise comprehensive strategies for both endeavors:
For Supplier Diversity: Crafted thought-provoking questions, equipped facilitators with visual tools, and produced real-time visual records to foster inclusivity and drive actionable initiatives.
For Lab Efficiency: Orchestrated four immersive design workshops, leveraging virtual platforms for collaborative brainstorming, idea synthesis, and prioritization. One session was conducted in-person to enhance collaboration.
THE RESULTS:
Supplier Diversity: A dynamic 30-minute keynote on visual storytelling, eight tailored visual templates for breakout sessions, six months of actionable initiatives, and a visually compelling summary immortalized on a Supplier Diversity "action items" t-shirt.
Lab Efficiency: Twenty percent of the generated ideas were successfully implemented, signifying a significant leap in innovation and efficiency within J&J's labs, ultimately bolstering scientific pursuits and outcomes.
